Have you ever contrasted what colleges used to offer as classes versus what they offer now?
All the way through roughly the sixties, colleges offered classes and courses that were extensions of basic High School education.
There are colleges in California that offer credits for a class devoted entirely to Occupy Wall Street. Because obviously, that will fill a viable spot on a job resume when you graduate.
I'm sorry, when you waste your time at college because you didn't put any thought into your degree, and you wind up with a specialized education in something that only had a limited career field to start with.... Well, you really don't get my sympathy much.
Heh, funny you should post your nifty little liberal bit.
Berkley was the college that started offering credit hours for a class devoted to OWS.
Again, put yourself in a hiring position for a basic business. Are you going to hire the person with a degree related to Business Management and software? Or the guy or gal who highlights her knowledge of OWS on their resume?
I'm sorry Desp, I have no sympathy or empathy for coddled little shits like yourself who fled the shelter of mommy and daddys well-to-do lifestyle, only to learn that real life was something you had to work at. Shoot, I can even speak from experience. I lived on the streets holding down multiple jobs because it was something I had to do. Not because I wanted to run away from mom and dad trying to get me to hold up to basic responsibility.
Waiter... Waiter?
Curses! When will I ever remember; Order dessert first and THEN kill everyone in the restaurant.
