You mistake what I was getting after.
The admission of "wrongness" had nothing to do about agreeing or disagreeing with me. Despy uses adission as a ploy or booster anytime he wishes to lend supposed strength to whatever half-baked topic he's rallying for at the moment. So it appears to the general observer as less of a humble moment and more of a grandiose gesture of pompous false humility. It's how all his posts work. It's why he tries so hard to continually convince us of things that most have mocked him or made light of routinely.

As to how you talk and write? I'm fairly certain we're all aware of it. The question becomes of whether you realize how much of a pretentious git it makes you appear to come across as?

And this is me on my "cranky" pills. I save the Snickers for the day I walk through with a shotgun and I'm all "ClickBOOM!, ClickBOOM..... Thanks for the candy...."

It depends on the day and basic human nature Esuna.
Sometimes I get the feeling the rest of the world would be a slightly better place if people were genuinely happier, (provided your happiness doesn't involve, I dunno, firing orphans out of a cannon...), and then there are those days where I want nothing more than for everyone to be as miserable as I am at the moment because that would bring some manner of snide joy to my grumpy self.

But overall, especially concerning your profession, yeah, happiness is a good thing. Much in the medical realm is, well, trying at best.

Well, as I'm shifting over to nights, I refrain from the Ativan because it increases drowsiness. A bad thing when one is supposed to be awake and working. Thankfully it's the weekend and there's really nothing fretting in my brain right now, and what few moments of anger I have are a moot point because they're countered by the most powerful drug of all....

The sheer, unmitigated joy that warms my heart like so much hot chocolate on a cold day that comes from watching Seattle PD beat the stupid out of a bunch of idiot hippies who used an "Anti-Capitalism" protest as an excuse to be violent dickwads.

(See Desp, that's what your beloved activists in Seattle do... They use "movements" as nothing more than an excuse to start shit.)

God, it was great. Idiot, hypocritical, affluent dicknecks flailing at the cops and then looking surprised when the cops applied appropriate force to round their dumb asses up in cuffs.

(Sorry Desp, nothing you say can kill this joy, simply because after living in Tacoma/Seattle for five years, I'm painfully aware of the type of "activist" that breeds there... And they are smug, hypocritical pricks.)
