But seriously the comic is...interesting. It follows standard Manga tropes, but of course Nichiren didn't fight anyone - all he did was write letters and challenge people to debates so it's kinda funny to watch them try to dramatize this.

So like, when a mob gets whipped up by corrupt priests to kill Nichiren, he bravely and decisively runs away.

Also, there's a scene where he blocks a Katana with his prayer beads - which is kinda awesome.

Hot, and probably considerably more exciting than Nichren's "Write a letter, piss priests off, priests try to kill him, they fail, lather rinse repeat"

Though I will say this: I got oddly emotional over certain parts of Nichiren's story.
