For instance: This one time I had Vladimir Ilyich Ulyanov tear off his stupid "Earnest-Joins-the-Navy" head from his "Trenchcoat-Mafia-As-Drawn-By-Dan-Jarren" Body.

Part of the reason I'm talking to a p-sychiatrist.

Outside of a number of people I can count on one hand, life and it's general experiences have taught me to inherently mis-trust everyone and anything because they are either offering up insincere plattitudes or trying to fish for something from me.

That and when it comes to Desp, well, it's fucking Desp. Though I usually dismiss him, he's obviously given off a number of indicators of how he views me in his own little mind. I cannot change his perceptions, no matter how incorrect they are. So nuts to him.

You could probably change my perceptions by not being such a douche all the time. I'm usually pretty forgiving of people and more than willing to let past dickery become water under the bridge.

For what it's worth, Phant, if you've made the decision or been guided to make the decision that this kind of help is necessary, I wish you all the best with it.

My younger self might have laughed off Esuna''s comment that everyone can benefit from therapy, but I suspect we all can. Though in my meager opinion "therapy" can often just be a friendly set of ears or the understanding and support of peers and family and doesn't have to mean the whole couch+doctor thing.

Well, the guy has noted that so far, I have a lot of anger issues, and apparently per the talking issue, very few people to actually bounce things off of.

And Synk, if you haven't noticed by this point, Desp is the type that doesn't ever admit he's wrong.

EDIT: One of my buds with ADD has told me to remind him to take his pills if he's acting like a dick, because that's usually why he's agitated. Phant, did you take your meds before you made that post?

Sorry HDS, your circumlocution is duly noted and ignored in a manner full of ebullient, dare I say, conviviality-tinged mirth. Despite your mindset that you are a bellwether of some sorts, the phrases you toss forth are idiosyncratic to your posts, a prime example of your sesquipedalian nature. Alas, this is neither proficuous or perspicacious of you, but something that simply comes across as juvenile, cloddish or naïve.

Why look, I can use textbook sized words for no real purpose either!
And still not feeling it… Desp will only admit he’s wrong if it serves to further some argument about why he’s right to begin with. So I’m still sensing a lack of humble propriety on his part rather than the linguistic string of bombastic overtures he usually cottons to.
