I really like those bird textures. I would love to see you do something that dense and detailed over an entire page.

Thanks Esuna. I have actually been meaning to do a project like that sometime soon. I feel like my pen coloring has become good enough to try and do some well rendered work instead of the more simplistic shapes and minimalistic linework I usually use. It's going to be a serious investment of time though, haha :(

Thanks for the compliments on the bird. I enjoyed making that one a lot.
Synk, indeed, my lines have always been pretty... shaped. It's partly because I like using variations in line thickness to show things, and partly because I usually have a pretty tense hand while I'm outlining in pen. I've been trying to break away from that a bit, finding that starting the drawing in pen without any pencil sketching helps quite a bit.
My dad likes boats, so I am drawing him one. Hurp durp
