Maps

I like to draw maps for when I GM rpgs so here are some of them. I've probably posted a few of these before but who cares. I downloaded a thing once full of pictures for making maps and that's where most of the images and textures come from.

Do you use any specific software for the really fancy-looking grid ones?

Straight black lines on a new layer with a little bit of transparency, right?

Also I'm totally gonna steal some of your maps. I fucking love bridges for staging fights.

I think they're 1 pixel of black bordered by 1 pixel of 50% grey and then set on a layer at 33% opacity. I haven't actually checked the pattern in a while. It might just be 50% transparent black instead of solid grey.

I have not yet said, so I would like it noted for the record that I consider these maps excellent. The room suspended by chains above (or in?) the water is particularly intriguing.
