I'm Alive and Dry

Hey everyone.

It's been a few months since I lurked, but figured I'd pop in and say "Hey" and "I survived the flood".

Our house was actually in the lucky 20% that didn't flood, so the worst we had to worry about is losing the food in the fridges and boiling our water till its OK to drink.

Water was just starting to come up our lawn when it started to recede, so we were lucky indeed. We got evacuated out just in case it got worse again, but were able to come back Tuesday in time to see the power come back on.

Not sure what it is about disaster that makes me think of you guys, but just felt like stopping by.

Hope everyone else is doing well.

Glad to hear you weren't too seriously affected -- hope FEMA is doing the bizzo for the people who were.
