Start here. Apply additional episodes as your doctor, or any helpful hooded figure, recommends.

Hot flashes, pimples, spontaneous combustion, spontaneous teleportation, spontaneous echolocation, probing (both anal and otherwise,) paranoia, bliss, itching, humming, soft caresseses by unknown and unseen beings that exist just beyond the corner of your eye, and german measles may be side effects but are more likely the result of personality failings.

Only two episodes are not free, and those are the recordings of their live shows, "Condos" and "The Debate," which take place just after episode 40, and just after episode 45, respectively. You can purchase them for as little as a dollar.

More serious side point: the "weather" in each episode has been a great way for me to expose myself to a more diverse catalog of music that I might have otherwise remained ignorant of. And while WTNV starts off very slowly, it really picks up later, and it's especially cool when the groundwork of story ideas that they laid out in early episodes pays off later on.

And holy smokes, 14 minutes into the latest episode, number 48: "Renovations," was one of the few times in my life where I've literally jumped up out of my chair and gave a little shout of joy.

I finally ran out of Night Vale and must wait for updates. :(

Night Vale is pretty much the entire reason I have the iPhone podcast app on my phone. Automatic updates on the 1st and 15th.

Well I also enjoy This American Life and The Moth like a proper white American.
