I'm certainly down for that, and yes - we do need to be more aware of our baser instincts and the kinds of things which prompt anti-social behavior (and I would argue Marxist and Anarchist philosophy doesn't only acknowledge them - but to some extent provides a theoretical framework to minimize/harness them) but what I'm objecting to is a hasty conclusion being used as an excuse to JUSTIFY the nihilistic self-justifying behavior you see out of Phant and Habastian.

I think it's Hegel's, Marx's, and Engle's philosophy of Dialectical Materialism is essential to understanding class conflict and how culture which is commonly perceived as "nature" grows out of and is shaped by class conflict and people's material circumstances.

Really? All I saw was him griping about gender bias and than citing current aspects surrounding "blue" and "pink" while claiming it was the fault of advertising agencies.
But then again, so much of what Desp posts is open to interpretation.

Phant is like the living embodiment of the Dunning-Kruger effect.

And yeah, I was certain that the three of us were in agreement on that issue. We simply had to hammer out the specifics and clarify some of the cross-talk.

So, occupy seems to be winning like crazy in the courts...does that mean the system works, or is this just concessions?
