Maybe at some point a bunch of us will make it to NYC together, book out whatever restaurant Zengus is running by that stage and enjoy what he can whip up for us together. :)

I have long had a standing invitation to cook for any BOBs that visit me in NYC. Seriously, I won't even charge you guys my exorbitant fees. Friends eat for free when it's possible, and never more than cost when it isn't.

P.S. If we're talking another few years down the line, I think I'm more likely to be running my own pastry shop than slaving in a full service restaurant anymore (I've just about done my time, thanks!). But that's alright, there'll still be a stove and an oven, that's all I need to make a proper meal.

I am getting (another) tattoo. Redrawing one of the last things I did, to make the design a little more simple and also to fit the spot I want it in better.

It's turning out awesome! And taking me surprisingly little time to put together. I think I've only sunk like 2 hours into this so far? Markers are pretty cool.

I worked on this today while I rode the subway. A crazy Russian man named Dennis walked over and talked to me, semi-coherently and from a distance perhaps many would have considered "invasive" about a time that he got pulled out of his house by the cops because a friend of his roommate was wanted for an assault charge. He also told me my drawing was beautiful :D

It's coming along very well. Nice to get compliments from random strangers saying as much, too. :)

And I know what it can be like for work to leave you with too little time for actually spending time with people. Can't promise I'll be able to descend on NYC again in the immediate future, but I hope others do, and that you find a bit more opportunity for some quality social time soon.
