I really have yet to weigh in on the Patreus thing - though if you want an alternate view, listen to my pilot program - George Martinez and Yoni definitely would not agree with the author of that article - and George is also a CUNY grad and former employee.

But yeah, "tolerance" in not really a thing that leftists have much of - If they believe someone is a war criminal they aren't going to do the liberal thing and "tolerate" them.

Desp, I barely tolerate anyone, period, much less have overt tolerance for them.

I'll see if I can find it, but there was a nice article that explained in very logical viewpoints why the capital police, unfortunately, had to shoot the driver instead of trying to say, shoot out the tires. It primarily covered the fact that the women had indeed struck a number of Secret Service members and LEO with her vehicle, hospitalizing some of them, and bullets do not work the way Hollywood depicts them. Ergo, it's very dangerous and reckless to attempt to shoot out tires with a handgun... Hence why Highway patrol will attempt to set up spike strips for disabling tires. Alas, in a setting like the area they were in, spike strips were not a readily available or viable option.
