You should shorten your intro song, let it play for a few moments then talk over it introducing yourself and fade it out while you talk. Be that traditional "radio guy." "This is Brennnton LEEENgel, coming at you with INSSSSURECTIONNNNNNN, straight to your eardrums at 96.3 on your radio dial!"

Also, you should use Steely Dan's "Peg", starting at about 1:26-1:27 in, for your intro song, because that is the piece of music I would use coming back from commercial breaks and stuff if I ever had a political radio talk show.

Also, change the name of your show to "The Quiet Storm with Smooth Brenton."

BIG FREAKING NEWS.

We got picked up. Insurrection is going to be a weekly show, there will be a 1-hour version broadcast on 22 domestic AM/FM stations and 135 International stations. Plus we'll back up half-hour versions of the show on blog talk radio for you guys.

I'll also start looking into ustream and Youtube as soon as I have the show down pat.

Anyway, show will start off pre-recorded and then it'll go live. I'll be broadcasting every Saturday for 1 hour 9am central time.

So yeah, expect new shows soon. :)

For the first official episode? Depends on what's going on this Wed. probably the Gov. shutdown, we may follow-up on the General Patreus protest at CUNY, and the proposed "non-violent occupy militia" kickstarter.

I'm also open to suggestions if you guys know of anything interesting.
